Privacy

This site is run by Vitalii Doroshenko, an independent developer of web apps. Readers do not get an account here, and I do not publish an office address or a phone number.

If you write through the form on the homepage, I receive your name, email, and message in Telegram so I can reply myself. I also store that email in a private log on the server so I can see that the form was delivered. The form uses your IP address only to refuse more than one message per minute. I do not add you to a mailing list, and I do not sell this information.

Blog pages are ordinary files. There is no ad network on the site. Search engines and agents may read the public text, including a Markdown copy of the homepage when they ask for it with an Accept header.

If you choose Accept on the analytics banner, the site loads Google Analytics. Google then receives a cookie and technical details of the visit: the page address, the browser, and an approximate location. I use this only to see which pages are read. If you choose Reject, that cookie is not set and nothing about the visit is sent to Google. The site stores only your choice, for six months, so the banner does not ask again.

Questions about this data can go through the same form on the homepage.
